In turn-key projects, Data Vision uses an approach of minimizing risk for both you, the customer as for ourselves. The first step after your request, is for us to perform a QuickScan on a small number of sample products. This is a free service we offer. We use a maximum of 4 hour in which we do an initial investigating of your problem and possible solutions. After which we’ll present our findings to you in a Budget Quote.
Besides containing a budget price for the final application, in the Budget Quote we’ll propose a payed Feasibility Study. If the Budget Quote meets your expectations and you are willing to proceed with us, we’ll conduct the Feasibility Study. During which our goal is to acquire a large number of images (preferably on-site) and use these images as input for your custom made Vision solution. The results and price will be presented to you in a Detail Quote. So before ordering the application we’ve shown you exactly what the performance of your application will be. This is what we mean with minimizing risk!

The project itself consist of the following phases
- Development
- Factory Acceptance Test
- Installation
- Site Acceptance Test
- User training
- Aftercare
Development
After receipt of your order our engineers will develop the application according to the agreed design and specifiaction.
Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)
After developing and delivery of the various hard- and software items, Data Vision of Vlaardingen will undertake a Factory Acceptance Test to demonstrate the system is working correctly. Any possible changes can then be implemented without too much effort. After acceptance by the customer, we will then deliver the materials.
Installation
After delivery of the system, the components will be assembled, cabled and installed by the customer. After installation of the materials, Data Vision will undertake integration.
Site Acceptance Test (SAT)
The Site Acceptance Test is to take place at the end customer site. Acceptance is meant as a check to see that the agreed scope of delivery has actually been delivered and that the specifications have been met. In other words: Are you happy with everything? The acceptance protocol for this is drawn up in consultation with you.
User training
After the integration of the system, the relevant customer (or end user) employees can be trained on the use of the vision system. After this training, all employees concerned will be able to start and adjust the machine themselves, and they will know how to handle any malfunction or service messages.
Aftercare
The vision system can be serviced by Data Vision. Data Vision’s service staff can be contacted during office hours. If this is not sufficient, you can conclude a service contract concerning maintenance, spare parts, response times, etc.
