An InGaAs detector is an extremely sensitive and highly accurate photon counter in the near-to shortwave infrared range, suitable for low light applications. If illumination is necessary, you can
apply eye-safe SWIR light sources like a 1.55 μm laser or LED. In addition you don’t need mechanical cooling with InGaAs to achieve a high signal-to-noise ratio, making it more affordable and less power consuming. This all makes InGaAs cameras suitable as the eyes of a demanding machine vision system in industrial production facilities.
Designed for use in:
Food Inspection
Online quality control
Thermal Imaging of hot objects
